A recent financial study revealed that the Brazilian agricultural exports were down 0.7% this June from the June one year earlier. Nevertheless, Brazil’s agricultural exports are doing extremely well and growing higher in success overall. One type of crop that is particularly doing well is soy products. In June alone, soy products represented 53.5% of the countries agricultural exports during the month. These soy products include grains, meal, and oil. Its exportation of soybean products for this entire year is projected to be about 72 million tons.
After soy products, the next four top Brazilian agricultural exports are forest products, meat, sugar-alcohol complex, and coffee. The two largest foreign customers as far as agricultural trade are China and the European Union, which includes 28 countries. All of Brazil’s exporting/importing operations as far as agriculture, lifestock, and supply is overseen by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply. It is committed to two primary goals: To bolster the country’s food security and to heighten the production of exports. Connect with Flavio Maluf by visiting his linkedin account.
